AudioQuest Protein Leather Earpads share the size, shape, and outstanding comfort of our Hybrid Earpads, but their internal surfaces replace the original’s absorptive Microsuede with smooth, nonporous Protein Leather, resulting in a tonal balance that tilts slightly toward the treble. On the internal surface of the earpads’ grilles, a repeating diamond pattern contains helpful “L” or “R” markings, indicating Left and Right cups, respectively.
